Florida Notary Association offers one of the most comprehensive packages available in the market today. It meets all requirements for new and renewing notary applicants in the State of Florida with minimal effort from you, the applicant. The processing of the entire notary appointment package takes approximately two to three weeks from receipt of the required application forms in our office. The items below are included in the package price; errors and omissions insurance is an optional, and highly recommended addition.

This manual outlines the procedures to be followed by a notary, plus the complete Florida Notary Law as amended July 1, 2000. It includes the wedding ceremony, as well as several other examples of notary acknowledgements.

- Official Notary Stamp
Our stamp is one of the highest quality self-inking stamps available in today's market. It also comes with our unconditional guarantee of a free replacement.
Note: The notary stamp provided in our package is the only required notary seal for notarizing documents in Florida. In addition to this notary stamp, an optional impression seal may also be used for decorative purposes only. (This type of impression seal may not be used in place of the required rubber stamp provided in our package however.) This optional impression seal can be purchased from your local stamp store.

- Deluxe Interior Plaque
This professional plaque can be displayed on a desk or office wall to announce that you are a notary and properly bonded as required by the State of Florida. Kindly attach the plaque request form to your application if you would like to receive this plaque in your package.

- Free Interactive Education Program
Effective July 1, 2000, all new notary applicants must complete a three hour course on the duties of a notary public. We offer access to a free interactive web site course that complies with these State education requirements. Once you have finished this course, a Certificate of Completion should be printed directly from the web site and attached to your application and bond form for processing.

- Toll-Free Hotline
Our staff is waiting to assist members with advice on proper notary procedure in the State of Florida. One of our personnel is also bilingual, and happy to assist any notaries who prefer to converse in Spanish.

ERRORS & OMISSIONS INSURANCE
E&O insurance is not required for you to hold office as a notary public in the State of Florida. We highly recommend that you consider the purchase of this important protection however, since you can be unjustly sued even if you are careful in performing your duties as a notary. We can provide this coverage on either an individual or group basis. Please see our brochure for complete details of this coverage, as well as available policy limits and corresponding premiums.
To begin the appointment process, print the required application and bond forms from our web site and complete them in their entirety. If you are unable to print these forms, please telephone our office so that we may either fax or mail you these application forms. Express Service is available as well for those applicants who have a processing deadline.
Once you have completed the application, bond form and education program (if applicable), print each form and sign where indicated. Mail these required forms, along with your payment of $95.00 (made payable to Florida Notary Association, Inc.) to our office. We accept personal and company checks, money orders, and purchase orders.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS
We offer a $5.00 discount (per application) for groups of three or more notary applications that are submitted at one time. Organizations submitting 10 or more new or renewal notary applications per year are encouraged to telephone our office regarding special group pricing available for these notary appointments.
